EXCITING TIMES AHEAD ON THE DEVELOPMENT FRONT FOR DUNGARVAN GAA
The executive committee of the Old Boro club are leaving no stone unturned as they proceed with various development projects at their grounds in Dungarvan. Work will start shortly on a 60 by 30 metre Astroturf facility combined with a hurling ball wall which we hope will hone the skills of future hurlers who will don our club colours.
In the past few years a stand has been erected for our patrons and in recent weeks a three bar post and railing has been placed in our main field where there is floodlighting in place with the past ten years.
We are now in a position to offer businesses an opportunity to advertise their services on this railing. Each sign is of polymeric vinyl with a glaze laminate on a 3mm hoarding grate of aluminium composite. The purchase and design of the hoarding is the sponsor’s responsibility . The Dungarvan club then charges a rental fee of £250 for two years advertising which is less than £3 a week. A receipt will be furnished by the club for the business to claim tax expenses.
Already 28 businesses have their hoardings erected and another 25 have been pledged and some of these are already with the local graphic companies to finalise logos and general layout. Contacts for the above advertising signs are David Kiely, Club chairman, 086 2525663, Tony Ryan, Club secretary, 087 7657805, Treasurer, Keeley Hallahan 087 6918040 and Juvenile secretary, Eleanor Dwyer 0877857814.
