UNDERAGE RESULTS
Minor Hurling
We were well beaten in the first round of the County minor hurling championship by local rivals the Brickeys last Wednesday evening in Bushy Park, 4-19 to 4-8. A big improvement is required if we are going to make any progress in this grade this year.
We were just a point in arrears at half time 1-9 to 2-5 but we were not at the races for the second half. Our best player on the night was Leon Lannen who scored 3-5 .

After our under 15 hurling championship game against DLS last Monday week, we were left wondering how we are in the same division as the city boys, losing out by 9-19 to 1-8. This week we are at home to Lismore

WELL KIDS CONTINUES THIS SATURDAY
Our Well Kids Nursery group will be held again this Satuday July 15th for all boys and girls . Fun and games are on the menu. Regular attenders to our Nursery group welcome and all new comers welcome . Huge numbers are turning up every week and long may this continue

CUL CAMP DATES
Our dates for this year’s Cul Camps are Camp 1. July 17th to 21st. Camp 2. July 31st to August 4th. First camp starts this Monday coming.

SYMPATHY
The club extends its sincere sympathy to the Ronayne family, Coolcormack on the death last week of their father Michael who trained our under 16 footballers to win the County B title in 1976, the hurling title in 1977 and the western under 16 A football title in 1978. His three sons, Rocky, Richard and John Joe all won championships with the club. R.I.P.
