Well done to our u13s who played some great hurling on Monday week last to overcome a strong Fourmilewater team in their semi final. Thanks also to CBS Dungarvan for a loan of their jerseys. We play Stradbally in the final at the Fraher Field on Tuesday 19th of September.
MINOR FOOTBALL.
We played two games in the County mior football championship last week. On Wednesday we defeated Clashmore/Kinsalebeg by 6-13 to 0-11 and on Sunday we went under to Ballinacourty by 2-6 to 1-6. This Sunday, September 17th, we are away to St. Olivers at 11am.
ADULT FOOTBALL
We play Ardmore in the first round of the Western Intermediate football this Saturday Septembe 16th at 2pm. Our Junior footballers play Ballinammela at home in the first round of the Western championship on Sunday at 12 noon.
UNDER 15 HURLING
Our under 15 hurlers play St. Mollerans in the Plate semi final in the Fraher Field this Tuesday evening September 12th at 6.30pm.
WELL KIDS
WELL KIDS looking VERY WELL in the latest edition of a Dungarvan GAA jersey which one and all received for taking part in the Nursey Group activities for the past eight weeks.
Our last day of the Well Kids Nursery group was held last Saturday and each of the 60 kids were presented with a club jersey for attending the eight weeks of fun and games. Thanks to Liam and Chris and their willing band of helpers for their dedication to this project and our regular Nursery group continues this and every Saturday while the weather permits. As always, newcomers are always welcome just come along to our astro turf facility at11 am any Saturday mornings and you will get a great introduction to your local GAA club in the heart of the town.

SYMPATHY
The club was saddened to hear of the death of one of our long time supporters Ann Galvin last week. Ann’s family are long associated with the club, her son Trevor is a former player and great clubman while Anne’s grandchildren continue the link on the field of play at the present time. The esteem the family is held in was seen in the amount of club members who attended Ann’s funeral and burial last weekend. May she R.I.P.
