PRIMARY SCHOOLS SKILLS WINNERS
Congratulations to three of our young players from the club’s Alma Mater, St. Joseph’s Primary school, Gavin Healy, Jamie Connolly and Lee Duggan who won the Western Primary schools skills competition at our own club grounds last week. Great to see St. Joseph’s doing well again.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS GAME
Well done to Lee Duggan who was on the Waterford Primary schools team that played at half time in Thurles last Saturday against Clare. Lee wore the number 3 jersey with distinction.
GOLF CLASSIC RESULTS
The weather was ideal for our fundraising golf classic last weekend. Thanks to everybody who participated and who provided sponsorship. Thanks also the West Waterford Golf club for hostiing the event at their splendid venue.

UNDER AGE
Our under 13 footballers played out a high scoring encounter against Lismore in the County division 2 semi final at the very well prepared Bushy Park last Wednesday evening. Playing with the wind, we led at half time by 4-4 to 4-3 but tired towards the end of the game and Lismore rsan out deserving winners by 6-14 to 5-7.
Meanwhile our under 11 hurlers beat Portlaw at home by 4-2 to 2-2 after being defeated in Round by Ferrybank on a score of 4-2 to 1-4

Darragh Lyons and Patrick Curran played against Clare in the Munster senior hurling championship in Thurles last Saturday evening.
