In Walsh Park last Sunday in Round 3 of the Munster Minor Hurling Championship, It finished Limerick 0-11, Waterford 0-11.
This was Waterford’s first championship point earned after previous narrow defeats to both Clare and Tipperary.
Club players Johnny Burke and Tristam loftus lined out for the Deise and both impressed with excellent match long performances.
Johnny scored 0-3 from play while Tristan justified his return to the starting fifteen with an impressive workmanlike display throughout.
