Well done to our senior hurlers who qualified for the County senior hurling quarter finals by beating Lismore in extra time at the Fraher Field last Sunday evening.
We led by 0-11 to 0-7 at half time and the teams were level at 0-20 to 2-14 at the end of normal time. We trailed by 0-2 going into the second half of extra time by 2-17 to 0-21 but quick fire goals by Gavin Power and Aaron Donnolly edged us over the line, away from relegation worries and into the last eight on a final scoreline of 2-23 to 2-20.
