FOURMILEWATER 1-17 DUNGARVAN 0-9
Our minor hurlers had to give way to a superior Fourmilewater fifteen in the County division 2 minor hurling semi final at the well appointed Colligan club venue last Sunday morning.
The concession of too many frees in the first half to a clinical Fourmile free taker Aaron Ryan left us 0-9 to 0-4 behind at half time and when Fourmile goaled immediately on the restart we were fighting a losing battle from this point to the end of the game to the end
point to the end of the game.
Despite this loss, much progress has been made in the minor grade this year reaching the knockout stages and enjoying that fabulous 5-15 to 4-16 win over Tramore in the quarter final.
Well done to all of the players on their commitment during the year and to the men who guided them Pepe Ferncombe, Thomas Duggan and Stephen Donovan.
