Abbeyside 2-23 Dungarvan 1-4
Our junior hurlers came up against a very capable and fit Abbeyside team in the first round of the championship in our own grounds last Sunday afternoon.
We trailed by just 0-4 at half time at 0-10 to 1-4 with our goal coming from our top scorer Conor Duggan but the Villagers proved completely dominant during the second half.
Our next game is against Ballyduff Upper.
